22.02.2017 SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou opens next Wednesday

Concurrent seminar programme to inspire fair participants by offering the latest market information 

SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou (SIAF) will be open for trade from 1 – 3 March 2017 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. Recognised as one of the most important trade shows for industrial automation in South China, the three-day fair will host 545 exhibitors from 15 countries to present their latest offerings across 45,000 sqm of exhibition space. It will feature a comprehensive selection of automation products including drive systems and components, sensors and IPCs, industrial software, robotics technology and much more. 

Contributing to the upcoming exhibition’s figures are the Guangdong Robotics Pavilion and Taiwan Pavilion. The Guangdong Robotics Pavilion, organised by the Guangdong Association of Automation and the Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society, will feature the latest industrial robots and components, smart industry solutions, intelligent manufacturing systems and more from specialists within the region. Back for its eighth year is the Taiwan Pavilion, organised by the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association, which will also showcase prominent suppliers and the latest development trends from Taiwan. With the fair making a concerted effort to refocus on growing demands in the global market, exhibitors are ready to present diverse solutions and products to both international and domestic communities. Some noteworthy first-time participants confirmed for the eighth edition include Bernstein, Codesys, Dold, Eura Drives, Proface, Rethink, Geneno, SPINEA, OKI, ERNI and Wittenstein. 

Apart from a comprehensive display of up-to-date solutions for China’s manufacturing market, over 130 buyer delegations are confirmed to participate in the 2017 edition, including Bayer, BYD, Colgate, FAW – Volkswagen, Foxconn, Hisense, Huawei, Liby, Midea, OPPO, TCL, ZTE and others. The China Light Industry Machinery Association has also gathered renowned food and beverage packaging companies and other manufacturing companies from domestic China to source the latest industrial automation products and solutions for upgrading their production lines. 

SIAF will also be held together with the 11th edition of Asiamold – Guangzhou International Mould & Die Exhibition, which specialises in the latest mould making, 3D printing, die casting and metalworking instruments. Altogether, the fairs expect to welcome over 65,000 professional buyers from around the world. The broad range and high-quality of participating exhibitors will help visitors to discover new business leads.
