Guangdong Robotics and Smart Factory Pavilions debut with cutting-edge products and solutions

With increasing labour costs and growing demand for precision and digital manufacturing in China, the “Made in China 2025” plan that was announced in May 2015 outlines the country’s latest trends for its manufacturing industry and the direction of future industrial upgrades. Acknowledging the importance of the Guangzhou fair and to capitalise on the current industry revolution, renowned industry associations and alliances have confirmed their participation by forming industry pavilions at the 2016 edition.

The Guangdong Association of Automation will present the Guangdong Robotics Pavilion for the first time. Made up of 12 exhibitors and occupying over 600 sqm of exhibition space, the pavilion will display the most advanced robotics technology in South China, offering a diverse collection of products that cater to buyers individual sourcing needs. Leading brands in the pavilion include Googol Technology, the Guangdong Province Intelligent Robotics Institute, Guangzhou Asialand System Control, Guangzhou Qifan Industrial Robots, Guangzhou Rising Technology, the South China Intelligent Robotics Innovation Institute and others.

Smart manufacturing is one of China’s largest initiatives to quicken the country’s shift to less labour-intensive processes. To raise awareness of the current industry trend and enable manufacturers to gain a better understanding of the benefits of this technology, the Smart Factory Pavilion will make its first appearance at the fair. Organised by the China Science & Technology Automation Alliance, various smart factory concepts, products and solutions will be on display.

Additionally, experts representing their company within the pavilion will be invited to share their insights and experiences in a series of case studies. Topics cover key concepts including vertical production units, intelligent production lines, smart factories and intelligent manufacturing systems will be highlighted.
